What are granular @mentions?

In addition to @mentioning entire Projects and Collections, you can @mention specific rows or columns within a Collection. This lets you ask hyper-precise questions about exactly the data you care about.

How to @mention a row or column

  1. Open a chat panel.

  2. Type @ (with a space before it).

  3. Select a Collection from the dropdown.

  4. Navigate deeper to select a specific row or column.

Alternatively, you can drag and drop a file, Collection, row, or column from the left sidebar directly into the chat input.

Examples

@mention a specific row:

"@Lease-Acme-Corp What are the key renewal terms in this lease?"

This directs the Agent to focus on a single document (row) rather than searching the entire Collection.

@mention a specific column:

"@Retail-Leases > Rent Amount What is the average rent across all leases?"

This tells the Agent to focus on data from one specific column.

Combine multiple @mentions:

"@Lease-Acme-Corp @Lease-Beta-Inc Compare the termination clauses between these two leases."

When to use granular @mentions

Scope

When to use

@Project

Broad questions across all related Collections

@Collection

Questions about a specific dataset

@Row

Questions about a single document

@Column

Questions about a specific field across all rows

The more specific your @mention, the more focused and accurate the Agent's response.
