What is the confirmation flow?

When the Agent performs an action that changes your data β€” such as creating a Collection, adding columns, deleting rows, or modifying cells β€” it can pause and ask for your confirmation before proceeding.

This gives you a chance to:

  • Review what the Agent plans to do

  • Correct any misunderstandings before changes are applied

  • Approve the action to let the Agent proceed

How it works

  1. You ask the Agent to perform a task (e.g., "Create a Collection for tracking vendor contracts").

  2. The Agent produces a plan with the specific actions it intends to take.

  3. A confirmation dialog appears in the chat, showing the planned changes.

  4. You can:

  5. Click Accept to execute the action.

  6. Click Reject or modify the request to adjust the plan.

What actions require confirmation?

The confirmation flow applies to write operations, including:

  • Creating or deleting Collections

  • Adding, updating, or deleting columns

  • Adding, updating, or deleting rows

  • Modifying cell values

  • Importing data into a Collection

Read operations (searching, querying, viewing) do not require confirmation.

Viewing Agent reasoning

You can expand the Agent's response to see step-by-step visibility into its reasoning and execution. This includes:

  • Which tools the Agent selected

  • What data it retrieved

  • How it decided on the plan

  • The results of each step

This transparency helps you understand exactly what the Agent is doing and why.
